Join the Green Generation

You can support the use of clean, renewable, environmentally-friendly energy sources by signing up to purchase Green Power in 150 kwh blocks. Each block is $4.50 per month. The cost - less than 15 cents a day - will be added on to your monthly power bill.

Supporting the program is the equivalent of any of the following:

• Taking 84,000 cars off the road
• Planting 114,000 acres of forest
• Reducing the use of coal by 1,890 railcar loads
• Decreasing the use of oil by 900,000

Participation in Green Power is voluntary by Coastal Electric Cooperative and its members. A member may discontinue participation in Green Power at any time.
